Skip and Highway Permits
If your skip needs to be placed on anywhere other than private land (ie a road or pavement) you'll need to obtain permission from the local authority to have it there. Believe us - dealing with the council can be a real hassle, but don't worry - we'll organize all the permits you need - just sit back and wait for the skip to be delivered.
Permit applications lead times vary from one local authority to another - some can approve applications in less than an hour, others can take a full week.
If a permit can't be approved in time we can always supply skips on a wait & load basis to tide you over until the permit is approved. With a wait & load skip the driver will wait on site whilst the skip is being loaded and drive off once it's full, removing the need for the skip to be left on the road.
